Terms & Conditions

1. Quotations

Quotes are free, written and valid for 30 days from issue unless stated otherwise. Prices are based on the information supplied and a site visit where possible. Additional works discovered on site (e.g. hidden faults, non-compliant existing installations) will be quoted separately and only carried out with your approval.

2. Acceptance

Booking a job, in writing, by email or verbally, confirms acceptance of the quote and these terms. Access to the property at the agreed time is the customer's responsibility.

3. Payment terms

• Domestic customers: 14-day terms by bank transfer on completion.
• Commercial customers: 30-day terms by bank transfer from invoice date.
• Larger projects may be invoiced in agreed stages.
• Late payment may attract interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Certification & standards

All electrical work is carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition) and, where applicable, Part P. Electrical Installation Certificates or Minor Works Certificates are issued as required. Notifiable work is registered via NAPIT.

5. Workmanship guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from completion. Manufacturers' warranties apply to supplied equipment (e.g. EV chargers, consumer units, lighting). The guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear.

6. Insurance & liability

We hold full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the works, save for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for consequential losses.

7. Cancellations

Please give as much notice as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours of a booked slot may attract a charge to cover time and any materials already procured.

8. Complaints

If something isn't right, contact us as soon as possible, see our contact page. We take pride in our workmanship and will always try to put issues right promptly. Unresolved complaints may be referred to NAPIT under their consumer complaints procedure.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
